It has long been expected that Dead Island 2 would be an Epic Games Store exclusive, but now that the game's marketing efforts have ramped up, fans have confirmation that this is indeed the case. Dead Island 2 is aiming for release on current- and next-gen consoles as well as Google Stadia and PC, though those on PC will only be able to get it through the Epic Games Store. Dead Island 2 disappeared after its reveal trailer dropped in 2014, but the open world zombie franchise has finally made a comeback, releasing a pair of exciting trailers at Gamescom Opening Night Live and confirming a Februrelease date.
